Design process
We strive to maintain close communication with our clients during every stage of the design process, up to and beyond the launch of your site.
Online client area
The lifespan of a web project can sometimes run across several months, and involve input from many people. To ensure everyone is kept in the loop we upload design work
to a secure online 'client area'. This allows authorized users to preview work, respond and make recommendations, and to participate fully in the design
process.
Phases of work
The precise requirements for the design and build of the website will always vary from project to project. However, wherever possible we aim to follow a systematic procedure comprising three basic phases of work:
1 planning phase
- meet client and and identify key objectives
- submit proposal and costed estimate
- confirm project resourcing and timelines
2 design phase
- assess content and develop site map & navigation
- develop 'mock-up' visual designs
- present design ideas to client for feedback & discussion
- refine designs with the client, incorporate feedback
3 build phase
- build site templates, CSS stylesheets
- gather and load content
- publsh 'clickable' draft web site for client feedback & amends
- submit site to internal testing procedures
- client sign-off and go live
