At Livewire we have a passion for the Internet. Everyday, new technology is bringing new possibilities to a growing audience. How does the designer exploit them?

Communcation matters

Although the Internet offers tremendous possibilities, it is still in its infancy as a communication tool, and too often the message is obscured by the technology.

We believe a valuable website is one that delivers its message clearly and effectively. Achieving this communication through design is the challenge that motivates us at Livewire.

Simplicity is key

In many creative disciplines simplicity is often the key to great design, and websites are no exception. While the Internet itself is complex, we believe websites should be as simple as possible in order to be effective.

This means that ease of use and navigation are a high priority. Because of the unique "interactive" nature of the Internet as a medium, the user is in control - and above all, users want simplicity. At Livewire, our approach to design is focussed around the user.
